Pack Your Handicap Placards
Each Friday, we feature a reader-submitted tip as our Travel Tip of the Day. This week’s tip comes from reader Karol, who says:
“If you (or your visiting friends or relatives) have a handicap placard, don’t forget to pack it (or remind them to pack it for their trip). My parents live out of state and came this month to visit. Since they recently obtained a handicap placard, I had them bring it so we could use it while they were visiting. It was so helpful to use during the visit!

A great tip for anyone close to someone with a handicap placard. Inside the US, you might consider calling a DMV in the destination state or an embassy representing a destination country for information. Thanks, Karol!
